95 IDPs in Dnipro Receive Food Certificates from the Road of Hope Project

Twenty-two internally displaced Ukrainians received assistance in restoring their national passports, and another 95 (60 women and 35 men) received food certificates worth UAH 1,000 during the first weeks of April at the Donetsk Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church hub in Dnipro. Volunteers of the Road of Hope Project continue to support families evacuated from frontline towns and villages.

“The story of each person is both the pain of loss and hope - hope for safety, warmth, and a new life. We support them by providing certificates for food in the Silpo network, helping restore lost or damaged documents, and offering social support and other necessary assistance. These are small steps that help people feel supported,” said Serhiy Horobtsov, Head of the Road of Hope Project in Dnipro.

According to him, in addition to humanitarian and legal assistance, social workers assess the needs of each family so that the Project’s support is as targeted and effective as possible.

“We work to ensure that each family feels that they are not alone,” added Serhiy Horobtsov.

Internally displaced persons in Dnipro can register for assistance by filling out the form at the following link.

The Road of Hope project is implemented by “Eleos-Ukraine” in partnership with Johanniter International Assistance, with financial support from Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
