A New Beginning: Eleos-Ukraine Expands Psychological and Legal Support Network for Families!
The NGO Eleos-Ukraine is proud to announce the launch of a major new project dedicated to supporting Ukrainian families affected by the war. The program is designed to restore a sense of safety, build inner resilience, and help participants adapt to ongoing challenges.
This new initiative builds upon and scales up the successful model of the Family Hub network. Having already earned community trust and proven its impact in Zviahel, the network is now expanding to Konotop. Additionally, this welcoming and safe space is opening its doors in Chernihiv at the Saint Olga Hub.
🤝 What Does the Project Offer?
Through this program, qualified professionals will provide free assistance across several key areas:
- Children’s Group Sessions: Play therapy, creative activities, and social interaction tailored to reduce anxiety in children.
- Individual Psychological Counseling: Confidential sessions with psychologists for adults and children who require personalized mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS).
- Adult Support Groups: A peer-to-peer space for parents to share experiences, build community, and learn practical self-care and coping techniques.
- Legal Aid: Expert guidance and support in restoring lost or damaged vital documentation.
First Steps Already Taken!
Kick-off events and initial meetings with beneficiaries successfully took place in May 2026.
Furthermore, internally displaced Ukrainians who fled the occupation and are currently residing in the Bohodukhiv community of the Kharkiv region will also be eligible to receive multi-purpose cash assistance.
