Food Certificates for Internally Displaced People in Sumy
In Sumy, the Road of Hope project team conducted the final distribution of food certificates to internally displaced people most in need of support.
Recipients included families with children, older people, and individuals without a stable source of income who were forced to flee their homes due to hostilities in border and frontline communities.
Food certificates allow families to purchase essential items according to their individual needs. For many displaced people, this assistance provides critical support during the first and most challenging months in a new location, as they rebuild their lives and seek new sources of income.
"Thank you very much for this support. Every hryvnia counts right now, and with a certificate like this, you can confidently buy food for your children. It helps you feel that you are not alone in your hardship," shared one of the beneficiaries.
The Road of Hope project is implemented by Eleos-Ukraine in partnership with Johanniter International Assistance, with financial support from Aktion Deutschland Hilft.
