Supporting Resilience in Kharkiv
Kharkiv today is a Hero City, a bastion of resilience, and, unfortunately, a city facing the daily onslaught of energy terror. For those who have already lost their homes and found refuge in collective centers, the question "Will there be light today?" is not a matter of convenience—it is a matter of staying connected with loved ones, ensuring children can study, and basic survival.
We believe that when the lights go out, life must not stand still. To support this, our team has delivered 40 high-capacity portable power stations to collective centers in Kharkiv that house Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
Why is this critical?
Collective centers (dormitories) present unique challenges. When dozens of families attempt to charge devices or prepare food simultaneously during brief windows of electricity, the local power grid often fails. These power stations act as a vital "safety net," enabling residents to:
- Stay Connected: Charge smartphones and power banks to remain in touch with family members.
- Education and Work: Provide power for laptops so children can attend online classes and adults can maintain remote employment.
- Meet Basic Needs: Power electric kettles, small household appliances, or essential medical devices.
Quality and Reliability
We took a rigorous approach to selecting this equipment. These are not merely "large power banks"—they are industrial-grade portable power stations designed to handle significant loads and feature rapid-recharge capabilities.
While we cannot replace the homes these families have lost, we can make their current living conditions a little warmer and brighter. These 40 stations represent hundreds of powered gadgets and a significant reduction in daily stress for every family involved.
